COME AND MEET THE NEXT GENERATION OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS AT THE LEXICON
On Sunday, April 30 2023, from 11am to 3pm, The Lexicon will be hosting a Young Enterprise Trade Fair in Princess Square, showcasing innovative products created by student companies from local schools and colleges.
Students from Burnham Grammar School, St George’s School, Langley Grammar School, The Abbey School, The Langley Academy and St Joseph’s College will be selling items including tote bags, bracelets, card games, children's puzzles, phone chains, relaxation products, handmade crocheted stuffed animals, candles, seed bombs and luggage tags.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says:
“We are delighted to welcome the Young Enterprise Company Programme to The Lexicon again this year. The Trade Fair is a great opportunity to showcase the talents and creativity of local young people. We encourage everyone to pop into Princess Square on Sunday to support these young entrepreneurs.”
The Young Enterprise Company Programme empowers students to build business skills, encourage an entrepreneurial mindset and experience business practices first-hand by running a real company during the school year.
The Trade Fair is an opportunity for the students to widen their experience by selling to the general public, testing their sales skills as well as overcoming the challenges of a public event.
