Dragon storytime at The Lexicon - booking essential, space is limited

A magical adventure for little Dragons

Join us every Thursday on 30 July and 6, 13, 20 & 27 August for a special Dragon storytime with the Dragon Wizard.

Step inside the Dragon’s Lair in Princess Square (the former Claire’s store, next to Specsavers) for an enchanting storytelling experience designed for young children.  Green cushions will be made available for children.  The Dragon's Lair has been created by the team from South Hill Park.

Session times

For Storytime which takes place on Thursday 13 August in partnership with Bracknell Library, please choose from one of the four daily sessions:-

• 11:00am:  The Dragon with the Blazing Bottom by Beach (suitable for children under 6)
• 12:00pm:  Big Bad Dragon Club by Beach (suitable for children under 6)
• 2:00pm:  One Hungry Dragon by Alastair Chisholm and Alex Willmore (suitable for children under 6)
• 3:00pm:  How to Grow a Dragon by Rachel Morrisroe (suitable for children under 6)

Duration: 20–25 minutes

Every child will receive:

🗺️ A dragon activity sheet
👑 A dragon crown
🎨 Colouring sheets (with prizes kindly sponsored by Rymans)
🎟️ A 10% discount off sessions at High Score Arcades (located in Princess Square)

To claim the offer, visitors must present a stamped Dragon activity sheet from storytime. The High Score team will apply the discount in store and mark the stamp as used on the activity sheet.  Offer expires: 2 September 2026.

Everyone who books a place for storytime and completes a post-event feedback form, will be entered into a free prize draw for a chance to win a £25 gift card for The Lexicon.
