Shop safe at The Lexicon

These FAQ’s detail more information about what we are doing at The Lexicon so you can shop safe. If you need any further information please ask us and we will do the best to help you.

We are looking forward to seeing you at The Lexicon

Shop Safe

  • The Lexicon has carried out a deep sanitizing process called “fogging” treatment in key common areas. This treatment releases a fine mist of sanitising solution into the air which then spreads and settles on every surface killing the COVID-19 virus.
  • We have also installed wall mounted and free sanitising stations around the town centre for visitors to use where appropriate.
  • In certain locations one-way directional systems have been installed directing customers to walk on the left-hand side to maintain the 2m social distancing requirements.
  • The on-site team will help and support where resources allow with any issues arising from the introduction of the social distancing guidelines.
  • Customers are encouraged to shop alone where possible. Customers are reminded that accompanied children are their responsibility and should also follow social distancing guidelines.
  • While it is everyone’s responsibility to keep a distance of two metres from other shoppers, retail staff and office workers, we will also be providing signage, floor stickers and tannoy announcements in Princess Square to regularly remind visitors how important this is
  • There will also be a designated procedure to handle clinical waste with the introduction of dedicated waste bins which will be located in Princess Square and The Welcome Hall within The Avenue Car Park.
