Team Lexicon gears up for Charity run

Newly appointed centre director, Tom Henderson, will be joining a group drawn from the wider team at The Lexicon to raise money for The Lexicon Charity Fund, by participating in this year’s half marathon. The Lexicon Half Marathon, organised by Bracknell Forest Council and Everyone Active, takes place on Sunday 11 May 2025.

Tom Henderson, centre director at The Lexicon says:

“It’s become a bit of a tradition that The Lexicon, as the main sponsor, fields a charity focused team in the half marathon. So, myself and colleagues are currently in training to endeavour to complete the course and raise some money for The Lexicon Charity Fund, which has supported many local causes over the years.”

We can’t wait to see everyone on the day – whether that’s here in The Lexicon or at one of the designated viewing areas on the route around the town centre.  A huge thank you to Tesco Bracknell for sponsoring the water for the runners as they cross the finishing line.

Race start time: 8:45am
Location: Bond Square (outside by the steps between M&S and Waitrose)

This year TEAM LEXICON will include seven runners, representing marketing Gareth Slaughter, from CAKE, soft service providers Steve Iles, from ABM, our managing agent Jeremy Lees, from Savills, our retailers Cullum Hackwith, from Waitrose, Liam Tomkins and Meg Norman, from PureGym and The Lexicon centre director Tom Henderson.

Our fundraising target for 2025 is £3,500, and if you would like to show your support it will be much appreciated.
