Bring your community spirit to Armed Forces Day!
Join us for a free community event in Bond and Union Square at The Lexicon, on Saturday, 20 June, from 12noon until 5pm.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with live entertainment, activities, food, drink, and the chance to celebrate the incredible people who make up our Armed Forces community.
Armed Forces Day is an annual celebration recognising the extraordinary individuals who serve our country. It’s our opportunity to honour serving personnel, as well as veterans and their families, helping them feel genuinely appreciated and supported by people across Bracknell Forest.
Alongside the fun, you’ll find a variety of stalls showcasing the wide range of services and support available locally to the Armed Forces community, from welfare and community organisations to employment assistance and veteran support. You’ll also have the chance to discover more about the vital roles our community members have played in conflicts and peacekeeping missions around the world.
Representatives from @Royal Military Academy Sandhurst / @rmasandhurst will be in Union Square (opposite Boots) with two military service vehicles on display – a GS Land Rover and an SV MAN 6T. Come and explore the vehicles and snap a photo with the family!
