Create creepy crafts and ride the Halloween Express at The Lexicon this Halloween

This half term, keep the children entertained with plenty of treats and spooky goings on at The Lexicon!

Craft workshops, for little monsters aged 3-11, will take place from Monday 22 October until Sunday 28 October, with half hourly sessions running from 10.30am – 5.00pm on The Avenue next to Charles Tyrwhitt. For £2.00* a child can join in the creepy crafts including spider web weaving, potion making, monster glove and nightmare catcher workshops!

There’s also a chance to play the Unlucky Dip to claim a ghoulish prize before collecting a ticket and cackling your way to the Halloween Express for a ride around The Lexicon.

Be sure to book a place at the eeriest place in town online now at

As well as making something extra spooky to take home, children can take part in the Haunted Hunt with clues hidden around The Lexicon. Just complete the Haunted House sticker sheet, available from the craft team and post completed forms in the white post box next to Patisserie Valerie for a chance to win a trip to Cineworld for six people**!

And if that wasn’t enough toil and trouble… hop aboard The Halloween Express and travel around the town centre in spooky style. The land train will run from 11am – 2pm and 2.30pm – 5.30pm all seven days. All passengers will be picked up outside M&S to complete a loop of The Lexicon, with a drop off point by Primark for those who only wish to go half way.

Single rides on the train cost £1.00 per person and money collected will go to The Lexicon’s Charity of the Year, Bracknell Gymnastics Club.

Sue Boor, Head of Marketing at The Lexicon says: “Our half term themed craft events always prove incredibly popular, and with so many crafts on offer this Halloween we’re excited to see all of the spooktacular creations! Following the success of The Lexicon Express earlier this year, we’re delighted to bring back the fabulously fun land train for the whole family to enjoy some Halloween fun, all while supporting our charity of the year, the Bracknell Gymnastics Club.”

*£2.00 per child (plus 30p booking fee) when booked online. A limited number of walk ups will be available per session at £2.50 per child.
