While Christmas 2020 will be a very different affair from previous years, The Lexicon has a host of activities both online and hopefully in the town centre, when Covid-19 restrictions allow, which aim to put a smile on local faces throughout the festive period.
Returning this year is The Lexicon’s Christmas Wishes campaign, where anyone can nominate a friend, family or in fact anyone within the borough of Bracknell Forest that you feel deserves a special Christmas treat. Ten Christmas Wishes will be granted by The Lexicon, with help from Councillor Ash Merry, Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest and Councillor Michael Titheridge, Bracknell Town Mayor.
So who deserves a special Christmas treat #withlovefromthelexicon!

WISHES CAN COME TRUE
The Lexicon’s Christmas Wishes campaign has drawn to a close with more than 300 nominations received for friends, families and others, that people felt deserved a little extra treat this Christmas.
The team at The Lexicon was joined by Councillor Ash Merry, Mayor of Bracknell Forest and Councillor Michael Titheridge, Bracknell Town Mayor, to undertake the incredibly difficult task of choosing some wishes to grant.
In fact, the task was so hard that instead of the original ten wishes to be granted, The Lexicon is granting double that amount.
Winning nominations came from right across the community, including parents, children, grand-parents, friends, teachers, volunteers, keyworkers, NHS staff and more.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says: “Thank you to everyone who participated in our Christmas Wishes campaign. We were overwhelmed by the number and amazing stories behind the nominations that we received, and it was a really difficult decision to make. We are glad to have been able to put a smile on a few faces this Christmas.”
